Those of you who know me know that 2022 was a hard year not only for me but those around me, It took me close to 6 months to fully recover from a broken leg that stopped me working & to all of those who reached out for support I thank you & my amazing wife who gave up her time to take care of me.
I lost someone close to me, even when they got ill I kept working to pay the bills in this delusion that it would get me more time which it didn’t. I still struggle to go into a room in my house without breaking down.
I never wanted to be a burden to anyone & I let people close to me down.
The end of 2022 I made the decision to start shifting away from it being about me & take my strange quirky skill set & empower the next set of wine nerds, give them the power to carve out there own paths.
2022 was a series of heartbreaking events that almost crushed me, I walked around with a smile on my face but felt completely numb inside.
I miss the ol’ Funky so 2023 has already been full of changes as I try to find balance. I am more involved in the industry then ever as I couldn’t see me doing anything else make sure you continue to shop at all of the local brands direct at all the links below. Support your local Cafe, Restaurant, Bottle Shop & Cellar Doors we have lost so many in 2022 I don’t want to lose anymore.
I have been quiet on Social Media but send me an Instagram message, I am going to turn my Social into something awesome to keep promoting small business I just need some time to work it out.
I also have my other business Cult Vine this has become a stronger focus for me as it allows me to be flexible with my time if you are a small business in the drinks industry & need an E-Commerce site that can offer subscriptions, Analytics, SEM or just someone to bounce ideas off hit me up at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Expect to see me at events, talking about wine, dropping into venues & hanging out at cellar doors. If you feel like you are struggling reach out don’t feel like you are alone you are never alone.
